xeno's auction house is brought to you by xeno corporation, the same trustworthy folks responsible for the popular server-wide xeno's casino chain of gaming establishments.

How it works:

Listing:
You submit a listing via private message and/or contacting an employee of xeno corporation in-game to arrange for item to be transferred to the auction house (AH). You specify your starting price (as well as your reserve and/or immediate purchase price(s) where applicable), and your desired length of auction and your item will be listed on the auction house within twenty-four (24) hours. The AH will handle the remainder of the transaction, and remit the funds (less auction fees) to your player account when you are online.

Bidding:
To bid on an item, use the xeno's auction house listings and bidding thread.

If an item has no bids, you may bid the starting price. When out-bidding another player, bids must be at least 20p or 5% more than the previous bid (whichever is lower). For example, if the bid is 100, the next bid must be at least 105. If the bid is 500, the next bid must be at least 520.

Incoming bids when there is less than 20 minutes in the bidding period increase the length of the auction by 20 minutes from the time of the bid.

You may use automatic bidding for convenience and to avoid losing to a last minute bidder. To do so, contact a xeno corporation employee to place the total value of your maximum bid with the auction house. This amount will be used to outbid incoming bids up to the total value of your maximum bid.

Please note: Both written and verbal bids are considered binding. You will be expected to complete the purchase of the item should you win it. Please be sure that you have the funds available for the end of the auction. Players who do not complete purchases will be excluded from future auctions by the house.

Winning bidders should contact a xeno corporation employee to arrange for the secure transfer of their purchases. Payment must be transmitted prior to item delivery.

Fees:
Listing fees are 1% of the starting bid with a minimum listing fee of 1 poptart.
Auction fees are 5% of the sale price of the item.
No charge to set reserve price or immediate purchase price.

Example
List an item for minimum 300p - listing fee is 3p.
Item sells for 800 - auction fee is 40p.
